We must petition the destruction of 16 acres of beautiful trees and thousands of wildlife animals! In the center of Long Island, we have deer, trees, squirrels, owls, birds, etc. Anthony Cicio is proposing to knock down and destroy all 16 acres and place 23 victorians up for sale for nearly $600k each. Meanwhile, the average home sale in this neighborhood is currently $294k. These homes just do not belong!!!! The existing homes in this neighborhood were built over 65 years ago and have enjoyed the quiet beauty of these woods since. We are severely concerned as to where all of the wildlife will be going.

In addition to building these eye sore homes in our backyards, he wants to make our tiny neighborhood a through street for thousands of people to cut through in order to avoid Middle Country Road (arguably the most dangerous road in our State). The list goes on and on as to why these woods should remain exactly where they've been for all of time. We do not want Middle Country's traffic where our children play!

If these woods are knocked down and these homes are built, all of the wildlife will have nowhere to go but into OUR HOMES including the RODENTS. Many of us moved here (some 53+ years ago) simply for the PRIVACY. We enjoy watching the birds, deer but mostly, the trees. We do not want to have homes 3 times our size staring into our backyards as we swim in our pools. We moved here for the privacy and we do not deserve for it to be taken from us!
