To my neighbors and residents of Bloomfield. The issue of budget reductions has certainly gotten the attention of the Town Council.

We hear you. Budget deliberations concerning any and all adjustments to what the Town Manager has proposed in his budget will be closely reviewed, debated, adjusted, finalized and approved by the Town Council.

Nothing is currently written in stone and any published statement saying otherwise is not factual or fair to those who may feel some anxiety either against or even for the budget. And yes, there are those who believe conservative reductions are what's needed to help with future growth.

We, the Town Council look forward to providing the residents of Bloomfield with the best possible budget that allows us all to enjoy the beauty of our surroundings and live the quality of life that we’ve come to enjoy.
