Please support term limits in the Town of Huntington.  New representatives bring new ideas, new passion, and a fresh perspective.  Change is good, change is necessary.  Your help, support and drive, will be shared with the Town Board.

 Setting limits for  elected positions generate greater turnover among elected leaders. Incumbents are overwhelmingly successful when they run for reelection and term limits helps to maintain equity in elections.  Elected office in the United States was never intended to be a career position.  Longtime officeholders may be serving their own reelection interests instead of serving the interests of the people they represent.  Challengers with new ideas are at an unfair advantage when running against incumbents with higher name recognition.  

Support Huntington's efforts to maintain balance and to lead by example by ensuring new ideas and fresh perspectives are always welcome and respected.
