Allocate 15% of White Hart Lane to Millwall FC
This petition had 959 supporters
When the FA Cup quarter-final draw was made on 20/02/2017, there was much enthusiasm from both Millwall and Spurs supporters as the teams were drawn to play each other in what will be the last cup game to ever take place at White Hart Lane, with fans looking forward to a fantastic day and competitive football match.
However, a story has appeared online saying that Tottenham Hotspur (with the permission of the FA & Met Police) are planning to reduce the number of tickets given to Millwall fans from the approx. 4000 that the club would normally be allocated under FA Cup rules which state that the visiting club have the right to 15% of the total capacity of the stadium.
This is being proposed in the name of crowd safety.
The people who have signed this petition believe that it is safer and in everybody's interests to allow Millwall 15% of White Hart Lane, as we believe reducing the amount of away tickets available would lead to more trouble than a full allocation because of the fact that this would anger many supporters and see many Millwall fans attempting to buy tickets for the home sections of White Hart Lane. Having less away supporters will also be detrimental to the atmosphere inside the ground and could negatively impact what should be a great day of FA Cup football.
