This shop, located on Bideford's main street on the historic Quay, is providing all too easy access to products that endanger the lives of our young and vulnerable people. We feel Torridge have a duty of care to these people and should be taking steps to rid the town of this seemingly acceptable face of substance misuse. Failure to do so, and to continue to profit from this shop's business rates, constitutes an unacceptable endorsement of the trade in legal highs and the related issues around anti social behaviour and dangers to physical and mental health. We ask that Torridge District Council consult with other agencies such as police and DCC and fully and publicly explore all avenues available to them to close this shop.
