Christopher Mitchell was pulled over on December 9th 2018 by Torrance City Police. He was completely compliant and respectful to both officers even as he was being mistreated. The officer on duty fired three shots into Mitchell’s car, killing him instantly.

This is nothing short of a hate crime. Christopher Mitchell was 23 years old and had a whole life ahead of him. He was innocent and targeted due to the color of his skin. He deserves justice. His family deserves closure.

Torrance City officials refuse to give out the names and information of the officers who are responsible for the murder of Mitchell and have yet to fire them for police misconduct.
