Ban dog/Cat Sales In Pet stores - Newmarket, Ontario
The Issue
A new pet store has opened in Newmarket called "Pet Friends". They are located at 16775 Yonge St unit 11, Newmarket, ON L3X 2P8. They are selling puppies and kittens which are more than likely coming from puppy/kitten mills. This company shut down shop in Richmond Hill when that town changed their laws to ban the sale of puppies and kittens and they have now set up shop here.
Please let our Mayor Tony Van Bynen know that we do not want this kind of business in our town.
