The proposed cuts of 56% to Wyoming Drug Court and DUI Court programs will have an enormous and negative impact. The cuts will decrease mental health and substance abuse treatment services to the citizens of Wyoming.

Not only do Wyoming Drug Court and DUI Courts save lives, but they remain the most successful alternative sentencing program ever used in Wyoming.

Wyoming Drug Courts and DUI Courts also save taxpayer dollars. A recent study showed for every $1 invested in Drug and DUI Court programs, a $1.60 is saved by Wyoming taxpayers.
