As a result of the recent admission of his misconduct we the undersigned, the people of Parry Sound - Muskoka, call upon Tony Clement to immediately resign as our Member of Parliament.

Tony Clement has shared sexually explicit images over the internet leaving him vulnerable to an attempted extortion.

“I’ve asked Tony to resign from caucus and he has done so,” said Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer.

Mr. Scheer went on to say, "I took him at his word that this was an isolated incident. Since then, there have been numerous reports of other incidents, allegations, so in that respect, I've asked Tony to resign from caucus so that he can respond to these allegations,"

If Tony Clement is no longer fit to serve on key parliamentary committees, or as a member of his party's caucus, then he is clearly unfit to serve as the Member of Parliament for Parry Sound - Muskoka. If a Member of Parliament is not eligible, or able, to hold a prominent position in government, they cannot provide the best representation for their riding.

We believe that Mr. Clement is no longer in a position to best serve all members of the Parry Sound - Muskoka riding
