As residents of the Toms River Regional School District, we Elect members of our community to represent us and our children. The Board of Education is supposed to be a Non-partisan committee, with no political agenda. As we have seen over the past few months, some of our newly elected members have other ideas. There has been proof that Kevin Kidney, Ashley Palmieri and Lisa Contessa have all had campaigns financed by local Councilman Dan Rodrick and members of the Republican Club of Toms River, and have been influenced by this group in the way that they vote, most recently with the Superintendent search happening in Toms River's District. Although Ms Palmieri and Ms Contessa cannot be recalled from their positions as of yet, we the people of this District are calling for their Resignation, as well as the Recall of Kevin Kidney from Pine Beach. We need to have people representing our Schools who are there for the right reasons, Our Children, and not to use their position as a political stepping stone. On JUNE 30TH, there will be an Emergency Board of Education meeting, we need to show up and let them know where we stand. Please sign this petition to show your concerns.
