Today was the annual Regional Canoe Carnival hosted by Aotea Sea Scouts at the Onehunga Bay lagoon. The weather was perfect and the scouts enjoyed many races in their kayaks out on the water. On land the scouts gathered to show their support for Aotea Sea Scouts campaign for NZTA to support their cause and reclaim the foreshore of the Aotea Sea Scouts' building, move the building and produce a great outcome for Onehunga. If you were there, thank you for your support, if not then sorry, you missed a great day, but thanks for your support. Please spread the request to sign the petition far and wide. We need to get a lot of support to make NZTA and Auckland Council really take notice. We are on our way. Thanks
