To all Jackson County residents who pay property taxes. We are soliciting your help in acquiring signatures in the form of a petition to our state and county representatives. 

 This petition is to eliminate school taxes for senior citizens sixty-five years and older who own and reside on property in Jackson County, Ga. Jackson County currently has a reduction on school taxes for seniors; however, it is not adequate. In many cases we have seniors who are living on one income and have been paying school taxes for many years.

 We need at least 1,000 signatures to submit this petition by December 31, 2021.If you or someone you know, who owns a home and lives in Jackson County, would like to help with the success of this effort, please sign the petition. Once you sign you will be sent an email asking to confirm your signature for it to be valid. Please remember to confirm. If you don't see an email, check you spam or junk folder.
