Hello, my name is Mitchell Ash as I push for support with this petition from family, friends and community leaders to come together on my behalf. I have been incarcerated since April 1997 during my incarceration I've received my diploma, I have taken many programs such as Thinking For A Change and Transformational Thinking.
I am also part of various organizations such as N.A.A.C.P, RST (Real Street Talk)IU2BU, Lifers and Grey Panthers Organization helping with fundraiser's in which we donated $10,000 to the make a wish foundation. I am also grateful for the F.A.C.T program ( fathers and children together) is a program that helped me build a closer relationship with my children while being incarcerated. Everything I've experienced over the years has improved my character, attitude and taught me how to conduct myself as a human being, a better son as well as a father.
During my time in prison I have been able to reflect tremendously on life decisions that ultimately have me in an unfathomable position; life in prison. I am asking everyone this petition crosses to sign and share as I work towards commutation from Governor Tom Wolf of PA to be released from prison.
