As of Friday, July 31st, the Executive Director of the PIAA has stated that high school marching bands are not permitted to attend and perform at varsity football games this fall as a result of mandates from Governor Tom Wolf as they are be defined as spectators. The students work hard throughout the year and currently at camp to support their schools and communities and to showcase their amazing talents. PIMBA has already announced they will not permit the marching bands to host or participate in band festivals and competitions this fall. In addition, local community festivals and parades have been canceled. The only opportunity for our marching bands to perform this fall is at varsity football games.
