Hi All,

1. Exciting news! Just yesterday the California State Board of Education honored the Schools for Climate Action campaign with a certificate.  In her statements, Dr. Linda Darling-Hammond recognized the recent anniversaries of both the Tubb's Fire (2 year) and the Camp Fire (1 year) which devastated so many school communities. 

2. Given the recent impacts due to climate-related fires in California, now is an ideal time to keep pressing education leaders to speak up to help end climate neglect. I just published this article: We Can All Be Second Responders to Climate Disaster with 5 specific actions anyone can take to further our campaign.

Thanks for supporting the S4CA campaign. We are now up to 106 resolutions in 14 states and DC. We just picked up our first resolution in Michigan thanks to the Kalamazoo High School Climate Advocates Club.
