Santa Barbara USD passed one of our strongest climate action resolutions to date---Santa Barbara USD Climate Action Resolution. This campaign happened virally without any direct advocacy from S4CA. Kindergarten teacher Ellen Hunter led the effort after finding Schools for Climate Action online. She said "Without the help of Schools for Climate Change I might not have taken the initiative.  The resources you provided on line were VERY helpful to me such as the talking points and the sample resolution. Thanks again!"

You might be surprised how easy it is to get your local ed leaders to speak up to help move Congress to act on climate. 

Please consider email this outreach email to your local, county, and state boards of education. With a little more outreach, we could set off a groundswell of resolutions from across the country and help break the logjam on climate action in Congress.
