Why I created this: I created this petition because my idol, Tom Holland has a beautiful,sweet and kind Blue Staffie named Tessa who is being threatened by BSL. Her life may be on the line and I want to prevent that. I want her and Tom to spend their lives together and make each other happy. I care so much about Tom,Tessa and the entire Holland family and I though by creating this I could make an impact on their lives, and the lives of all of the innocent dogs affected by BSL and the DDA

In the UK, BSL is a very big problem. BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) which is part of the DDA (Dangerous Dogs Act) BSL gives the british government the legality to take “dangerous breeds” away from their owners. Some dogs will return to their owners to live under very strict conditions, but many will be euthanized just because of the way they look. Most of the euthanized dogs have never done anything dangerous in their lives. The DDA is a cruel,inhumane act that takes innocent,sweet dogs away from everything they know. Their owners,family and home for no other reason than their breed. And recently, PETA has tried to add Staffordshire Bull Terriers (Staffies) to DDA/BSL, which will lead to millions of innocent dogs being killed. By signing this petition you are letting your voice be heard about BSL. By signing this you are fighting for these dogs rights to exist. Thank you for your participation
