Toledo neighborhoods are littered with unwanted and unsolicited advertisements!

The Toledo Blade delivers these blue bags full of advertisements (TMC) each week by throwing the bags on people's driveways and/or lawns, regardless of whether the bags are wanted or not - and regardless of the home's occupancy status.

These bags typically litter the lawns for several days until they are picked up by the home owner. They detract from the appearance of our neighborhoods. And, getting the deliveries stopped is nearly impossible.

Let's pass an ordinance that would require all unsolicited advertisements to be delivered to your door or placed on your porch. This will clean up the appearance of our neighborhoods while still allowing those dedicated advertisers to get their message out.
