For over 20 years, comedian Frank Woodley lit up the comedy stage with his counterpart Colin Lane as Lano & Woodley. Over their career as a duo, Lane and Woodley produced hit television series 'The Adventures Of Lano & Woodley', which was released on DVD to smashing sales, causing a re-release DVD of the series in March 2013, released performances of 'The Island' and 'Goodbye' (sold over 21,000 copies) which have set records in stand-up comedy DVD sales in Australia. After hundreds of live performances, television spots and a CD release of 'Lano & Woodley Sing Songs', the duo decided to call it a day. Their gags and few performances live on thanks to the production of these DVDs.

After the split of the duo, both Lane and Woodley have pursued separate careers, with Lane taking up the duty as host of daytime television series 'Ready Steady Cook', and Woodley creating several more live performances, including 'Possessed' and 'Bewilderbeest' to packed venues around the country.

Early in 2012, Frank's long-awaited ABC1 series 'Woodley' aired to rave reviews. A subsequent DVD was released from ABC, which has sold over 50,000 copies in Australia alone.

It was with great excitement in mid-2012 that Madman Entertainment and ABC2 announced that Woodley would feature in a DVD release, and subsequent television performance of his live sell-out Melbourne International Comedy Festival show 'Bemusement Park', as part of the Warehouse Comedy Festival. By far, this title was the most outstanding and best-selling of the series to date.

In 2013, Woodley took to the stage once again, with a brand new look and a brand new partner - Simon Yates of Acrobat, to perform an amazing and funny show called 'Inside'. Unfortunately, the show was only performed at the Sydney Festival, Adelaide Fringe and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, unlike previous performances of Woodley's which have visited more cities around the country like Brisbane, Perth and Hobart.

Online comedy communities, and in particular the Facebook and Twitter based pages 'Lano & Woodley Fans' were quite disappointed to hear that no further dates had been announced for 'Inside' following the Melbourne Comedy Festival. There has also been an outcry for this amazing piece of theatre to be released to DVD for those people around the country, and the world for that matter, who missed the shows performances in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne.

I put it to you, Token Artists, to please consider the release of Frank Woodley and Simon Yates' live performance of 'Inside' to DVD. As outlined in the above paragraphs, previous releases of Woodley's performances both as part of Lano & Woodley and solo titles, have sold large amounts of copies and thus broadened Woodley and Lane's careers to a wider audience, and given enjoyment and laughter to thousands across the globe. I believe that this performance should not be lost forever, but captured and brought back to life.
