By now we have all seen the posters, teasers and content revolving around the new Toho motion picture "Godzilla: Resurgence", or as it is named in Japan "Shin Gojira". At the moment there is very little information, however, regarding the movie getting a release outside of Japan.

There are many Godzilla fans inside the United Kingdom who would love to see this movie gain a theatrical release, but at the moment it is very unclear as to whether Toho will release this movie in our beloved country. Many people would pay good money to see this movie in the UK and Toho would certainly benefit from releasing the film over here. Even a very limited release, in small cinemas with infrequent showings, would satisfy most of us.

If we are not fortunate enough to get this movie in UK cinemas, we ask of Toho to produce a Region Free or Region 2 DVD/Blu Ray release of this wonderful movie and make it available in the UK with English subtitles or dubbing.

Bringing this movie to cinemas in the UK would increase popularity and demand for many Godzilla related products. It would also gain the recognition and respect the original Japanese movies deserve, as most people think of the 1998 "Zilla" and the 2014 Legendary monsters when the named "Godzilla" is said, and not the creature that he actually is.

In conclusion, many people would love to see the 31st Godzilla movie in the year 2016 in theatres. For many people in the UK, being a Godzilla fan is hard due to limited availability of Godzilla products. We hope you will pay attention to our petition. Thank you.
