Attention wine lovers!

The Australian Government wants your opinion on some proposed changes to the Australia-EU Wine Agreement. They are considering updating some European Union (EU) wine geographical indications (GIs), which could affect the way our Aussie wines are labelled. One proposed change could mean that our beloved Prosecco will no longer be recognised as a grape variety, and as such, Australian wine producers won't be able to use the name "Prosecco" on their bottles.

We know how much you love your Prosecco, so let's make sure the government hears our objection loud and clear! Let's #SaveAussieProsecco and keep enjoying the delicious Prosecco we know and love!

Further to signing this petition we request that you lodge a submission based on the grounds of objection to the Australian Government. This can be done here -   https://haveyoursay.agriculture.gov.au/public-objections-process

The deadline for submission is Friday April 21, 12.00pm AEST
