Antietam cable (a subsidiary of Schurz Communication Inc.) has placed a change in the terms of use agreement which will enforce over use charges and data use caps on those who use their internet service.  The posted rates are as follows.

$54,95 Go Fast: 10M down/ 1M up, 250GB per month.
$66.95 Go Faster: 18M down/ 2M up, 300GB per month.
$84.95 Ultra Fast 30: 30M down/ 5M up, 400GB per month.
$94.95 Ultra Fast 50: 50M down/ 5M up, 500GB per month.

The overage charge will be $10 for each additional 50GB of usage.

There are many people in the community who will not even be able to stay within the top tier that is being offered, and these include families who only use Netflix and web browsing for their internet usage. 

Bandwidth is not expensive at all, in the worst case scenario of cost to the ISP $1.9 cents per gigabyte, still provides a %200 profit.

I am starting this petition because I feel that the increase in costs for many of the people in my community will be unmanageable, and it will negatively impact the economy of my community
