The Northside Road is under tremendour stress and strain causing depressions in the road. One of these depressions is by the famous silk cotton tree. Hilton Sandy is of the considered opinion that roots network of the silk cotton tree could be the reason for the depression there. "We are in the process of conducting certain tests and it is found cu...lpable then we may have to take down the silk cotton tree in order to save the road," he declared.
Please help us save this magnificent tree. The people on Northside Road need a decent road system but the THA should find another way to solve the problem rather than chopping down a vital piece of Tobago's heritage!
