Criminal Minds is an excellent show -- since its premiere in 2005, we have grown to love the BAU team comprised of Aaron Hotchner, Derek Morgan, Dr. Spencer Reid, Jennifer "JJ" Jareau and Penelope Garcia.
While many fans continuously call for the return of Jason Gideon and Emily Prentiss, this petition focuses on the newest member of the BAU: Alex Blake.

According to her Wiki:
"Dr. Alex Blake is a seasoned FBI linguistics expert and professor at Georgetown who joins the BAU during the premiere episode of Season Eight after Emily Prentiss left the BAU for a post at Interpol."
Alex Blake (played by Jeanne Tripplehorn) adds NOTHING to the team.
In fact, her appearance on the show drags it down; she delivers her line in a monotone voice that leaves much to be desired.

While some people argue that the team was left bereft with Emily Prentiss's departure at the end of Season 7, this petition aims to tell the show's writers and producers that a team down 1 member is INFINITELY BETTER than having a deadweight on the team.

You have built a fan base who have clamored for a 9th season, all we ask is that you write this useless character off.

Please, Criminal Minds writers and producers, stop making us watch Bland Blake.
Kill her off, transfer her to Kansas or to Wyoming...do it however you will, just WRITE. HER. OFF.
