To guarantee funding to implement stage 1 of Manning Base Hospital.

The issue

After years of lobbying for hospital funding, a Clinical Services Plan and Building Master Plan was completed in July 2013 and has been endorsed by Hunter New England Area Health Service.

The undersigned petitioners ask the Legislative Assembly to guarantee funding to implement stage 1 of Manning Base Hospital so that the people of the Greater Taree, Great Lakes and Gloucester local government areas can receive medical treatment at Manning Base Hospital instead of traveling to Newcastle or Sydney.
