The police commissioner's argument is that pistols belong on a pistol license, not on a longarms license. So why can't they make a new category of pistol license for muzzle-loading pistols? What is the big deal? The government were fast enough to place semi-automatic guns on a new restricted licence, so why not produce a less restrictive license for muzzle-loading pistols?!
