Hi there, Its been a while since the last update. After the petition was presented in parliament I was told that it had gone to a committee, but when I enquired about any movement on the issue I was told that the petition did not meet the criteria for the Senate because it wasn't addressed to the Senate (it was addressed to the Minister for Health) and therefore couldnt be passed onto a committee. It was suggested that I start again and perhaps through the House of Representatives. I have sent off the same petition, with the criteria needed, to petitions at the House of Representatives hoping I don't have to start from scratch. I have finally put together a letter that can be personalised and sent to your local member of parliament hoping that we can keep moving forward.
