Thanks to all the recent supporters and to those who are sharing the petition. 5000 is quite a landmark number!! If anyone has any ideas of how to get the politicians to take notice before the election then please share your thoughts. I thought I might put together a letter to send to local members of parliament, so that they are aware of the needs of this population prior to the election. If you wanted to help by sending one to your local member then put your email in the comments below this post and I will send you a word document once finalised. We need our voices heard and we need to be persistent.
