This petition is to attract the attention of relevant bodies who can support victims with legal action against the website Gigmit.

Gigmit appears to be a German company and offers a booking service for independent artists and musicians. They have been accumulating an incessant number of chronically bad reviews on Trust Pilot where users have been caught up in a financial contract with the company which has seemingly constructed its initial 'free' sign up to bind artists into an annual, paid contract. We would therefore like the ethics of this company to be formally challenged in a court of law using the consumer guidelines set out by The ESMA (European Securities and Market Authority) and with the result ruling refunds and compensation for those who have been victim to this process.

If you are an independent artist or musician who has found yourself in an unbreakable annual contract from initially signing up with Gigmit's 'free subscription' or 'trial' subscription and would like to challenge this in a legal capacity then please sign and share this petition.

The fact that so many people have been sharing their experiences appears to support the evidence that there is an unethical business practice taking place, taking advantage of users.

Let's build momentum and reveal the truth about this website and protect the rights of independent artists everywhere.
