Hello, Over 5,000 people have asked Norway to Divest Dirty Salmon (farmed salmon), as they divested dirty coal and oil earlier this year. Many of the signatures are Norwegian, and if you scroll down to the comments section and click on "Latest" you will see the very strong language they are using to warn us. Canada is blind when it comes to salmon farming and is on the verge of changing its laws to allow these companies to own salmon in our oceans, something Canada has NEVER allowed before. People are also fighting this industry in Ireland, and Scotland. It is too big to be pooping massive amounts of waste into our global oceans. All industries have to mature and it is time for the salmon farming industry to grow up and stop using the ocean to clean its pens. Wild salmon are swimming through tons of fecal matter - not smart. Please share this petition to your networks and lets see if we can reach 10,000 names. I would not ask if I did not think this was very important.
