Hello 4,300 people have asked Norway to Divest Dirty salmon, many of you are Norwegian, and also Swedish, English, German, American, Canadian and form other countries. This tells me there is a global dislike for what this industry is trying to do to our oceans. This not what aquaculture could be, this is a dirty industry exploiting coastlines around the world. This industry has enormous biological problems in Norway and yet it is aggressively expanding into other countries bringing their problems with them. Canada currently has a government that does not value wild salmon or the communities that rely on them. Our laws are being rewritten so that this foreign-owned industry can own salmon in Canadian marine waters. See my article published here http://www.straight.com/news/406171/alexandra-morton-canada-changing-its-laws-dirty-salmon So it is up to us. I cannot be more clear when I say this petition is very important, thank you for signing, please share widely with everyone you know who might also want to add their voice. I will make sure your effort is not wasted. Alexandra Morton www.alexandramorton.ca
