I think that the enforcement of animal cruelty laws are very important so we can keep the animals in our local community safe. There are many reasons why people should set up laws to help keep animals safe. Sadly, an estimated 10 million animals die from abuse or cruelty each year in the USA. Globally at least 1 animal is abused every 60 seconds. These are just some of the sad truths about animal cruelty. There are not many laws that Groveland has to try and prevent animal cruelty and I want to try to help add some so we can help animals in our community. I know it will be hard to get some laws for this across the country not mentioning worldwide that’s why I want to start out smaller with my own community.
