PETITION TO HOLD AN ELECTOR POLL

We wish to determine electors' views on Clarence City Council's current proposed siting of the AFL High Performance Centre on the Charles Hand Memorial Park and / or Rosny Parklands.

We request that the Clarence City Council liaises with a Save Rosny's Parks representative and the Tasmanian Electoral Commissioner to determine an Elector Poll question(s) on the matter.

In accordance with Section 60D of the Local Government Act 1993,  we require the Clarence City Council to hold an elector poll within 60 days of receipt of this petition.

The subject of the poll will be whether the Charles Hand Memorial Park and / or Rosny Parklands should be made available to the AFL for its High Performance Centre.

IMPORTANT:

To sign this petition you must be an elector in the Clarence Municipality, that is:

1) you are over 18 years of age, and,

2) you live in Clarence and are enrolled to vote on the State Electoral Roll, or are on the Clarence General Manager's Roll
