So, today the Clarence City Council posted FAQ about the High Performance Centre.

It seems that finally Blomeley has become aware of the anger and negativity towards the proposed high performance centre which will demolish beautiful park-lands the skateboard park and completely almost demolish the old Rosny Golf Course. 

All this just to please the multi million dollar corporation AFL and giving into their blackmail, and the land will be leased to them for just $1.00 plus rates per year !!!!  How does this benefit the residents of Clarence ?????

Now more than ever we need to get this petition to over 1,000 signatures.  Once it reaches that amount, the Mayor and Councillors have to rescind their vote and hopefully conduct another survey where ALL eligible residents can "Have Their Say"

Remember, only 959 people completed the survey out of 49,009 that were eligible!

When our grandchildren and great grandchildren ask us where all the park-lands have gone, you can take a leaf out of the Peter, Paul and Mary song, Where have all the Flowers Gone, and say to them: Governments, councils and developers “picked them everyone”.
