Cambodian Cuisine, owned by Jerry Ley was once an operating restaurant in the Upper East Side but losing everything to a crooked landlord later to be discovered as former mobster, Anthony Castelbuono. Jerry Ley lost millions to this crooked landlord and had no choice but to start from scratch with what he had left and investing in a truck where he can continue to serve the same food that he once serve in his restaurant that everyone enjoyed and desired. Jerry Ley was the first to open a Cambodian restaurant in NYC and is the only one that serves authentic Cambodian dishes from his food truck. Having 3 kids to feed this is his only skill he knows best, cooking and preparing the way his mother had taught him, His slogan on his truck is, "On Street Looking To Survive" and he truly stands by that saying making an honest living and believes in feeding everyone, including the students and faculty of NYU whom know finding time to eat between class while stretching a dollar is not easy to do before Cambodian Cuisine Torsu Food Truck Arrived On Campus; The name Torsu is a Cambodian meaning for "To Never Give Up" and everyday Jerry Ley has come through rain and shine to serve us all without a doubt. Please Sign This Petition To Keep Cambodian Cuisine Torsu alive and to continue Jerry Ley dreams of serving delicious, authentic, Cambodian food!
