We, the undersigned fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, respectfully submit this petition to request the development and production of a new animated series titled "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures."

This new series would be a celebration of the TMNT legacy and a powerful addition to Nickelodeon's current lineup of animated content. We believe the best person to direct and creatively lead this project is Ken Mitchroney – a deeply respected artist, director, cartoonist, and an integral figure in the TMNT universe.

Why Ken Mitchroney?

Ken Mitchroney holds a unique and irreplaceable connection to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise:

He was a colleague and collaborator with original TMNT creators Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, as well as the wider Mirage Studios team.
Ken served as a writer and artist on the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comic book series, a title beloved by fans for its rich storytelling, diverse character development, and creative world-building.
He has a long and accomplished career in animation, having worked across storyboarding, character design, and directing on several iconic animated films and shows.

Why "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures"?

While the recent Mutant Mayhem series has been a refreshing and welcome reboot that has introduced TMNT to a new generation, we believe that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures can:

• Appeal to both longtime fans and new audiences, bridging the classic TMNT lore with modern animation and storytelling.
• Bring beloved characters and arcs from the original Adventures comics to life—many of which have never been adapted to screen.
• Offer a mix of nostalgia, action, humor, and heart that has always been at the core of the TMNT universe.
• This new series would not compete with existing TMNT projects—it would complement them. It would honor the legacy of the Turtles while expanding the franchise’s reach and deepening its storytelling.

What We Ask

We respectfully urge Nickelodeon Studios to:

• Greenlight development of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures as an animated TV series.
• Appoint Ken Mitchroney as the director and creative lead of the project, in recognition of his experience, legacy, and passion for the TMNT world.
• This is more than just a request for a new show. It's a call to bring a cherished piece of TMNT history to life for a new generation—while honoring the contributions of the artists and storytellers who helped shape it.
