Clear 7-8 years old backlog of PGP (Parents and Grandparents) sponsorship applications

Clear 7-8 years old backlog of PGP (Parents and Grandparents) sponsorship applications
The Issue
It is regarding sponsorship applications of Parents and Grandparents (PGP) submitted before November 2011 to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). Lots of PGP applications submitted before November 2011 are still waiting for processing by CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada).
Some of them are even waiting to be completed the first phase .i.e. Sponsorship approval. Some applications are in 7 or 8th year waiting from CIC to be processed. On the other hand, CIC already started processing applications submitted in 2014, 2105 and 2016. People submitted applications 4-6 years later already got their parents landed or near to land.
What is the criteria for processing these applications and why this unfairness in processing applications?. If CIC does not have man power to process applications from old backlog, how come it already started processing applications submitted 4-6 years later?
Why CIC started processing applications from 2014/15/15 pool, when applications from backlog of 7-8th years are pending?
This unfairness and delay in processing is effecting our day to day lives. Parents or one of the parent is already died while waiting this long process and it is very painful for single parent in old age to live alone far away in country of origin. Our families are TORN APART. It is very painful wait and delay we are going through.
We have already tried contacting CIC call center, MP office and your office. We got harassment from all places. Call center agents are untrained, very rude and not providing required information on the case. MP office is not able to find how much more time it would take to end this painful wait, rather MP herself said, people here are waiting since 10 years why you are worried for 7th year.
Your office staff is not even willing to listen/talk about our issue. Your office staff don’t allow to meet you. It very shocking and surprising to find out CIC call center, MP office and your office (Minister of Immigration and Citizenship) is not able to answer the question “How much time it would take to complete this process.”. Why? Please tell to whom we should ask? . Cannot believe it is happening in Canada
We are law abiding Citizens of the country and doing our part by working daily and paying taxes with every pay cheque and finally every year. We accept the same from Government elected leaders and Government institutions like your office and CIC
You are hereby requested to please process applications from other categories e.g. PGP 2014/15/16 and refugees, skilled workers but speedup the process to clear this backlog of Parents and Grandparents (PGP) applications that is waiting since 7-8 years. Please allocate more officer/agents for this backlog to clear. It is good try to prove now (since New Govt.) PGP applications are being processed faster, but the fact is, still applications wait entered into 7 or 8th year. Waiting a quick actions from your side
