Carol Burnett is the grand dame of comedy and a living legend. She has shared her enormous talents with us since the 1950s, from Broadway to TV to the silver screen. She acts in both comedies and dramas, sings, dances a bit, writes, and does impersonations, slapstick and even Tarzan yells. She still tours with a 1-woman show and is the GOAT as far as sketch comedians performing in front of live audiences go! On top of that, she's a great humanitarian as well as a gracious, classy lady. And on April 26, NBC celebrated her 90th birthday with a 2-hour tribute to this American icon.  

Lorne Michaels is well aware of all of this, yet he has never invited Carol to host SNL, which she has publicly stated for years that she would love to do. It is long past time. We are asking Lorne to show Carol the respect she deserves and let her host! She is as spry, intelligent and enthusiastic as the late, beloved Betty White was when she hosted. And it's sure to be a ratings smash!
