My name is Megan Stewart and I am a graduating senior with the Class of 2017 from Allentown (PA) Central Catholic High School.

On August 17th, 2015, our class lost Alayna Velez in a horrific car crash due to a careless drunk driver.  Not only was she my best friend, but she was a dear friend and classmate to many of us soon to be graduates.  

As our graduation approaches on Friday, June 2nd, 2017, the ACCHS Class of 2017 is requesting to have a chair with a cap and gown honoring her.

The administration at ACCHS has denied the  request responding that it is too sad for such a joyous day.

By signing this petition, you are in agreement and support the desire to secure a seat for our dear angel, Alayna, in tribute to her life at our graduation.  

Alayna will always be in our hearts and minds as we proceed with our promising futures as proud Allentown Central Catholic alumni.  #Vikings4Velez
