PETITION TO OBJECT TO INSTALLATION OF   HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION LINE  TOO CLOSE TO EXISTING RESIDENTIAL HOMES IN THE TOWN OF KG. BARU AMPANG

The undersigned residents of the Merdeka Villa strongly opposed to the installation of new High Tension Cable next to existing Residential Homes in Kg.Baru Ampang. Our opposition is based upon the following concerns: 

1.  The strong possibility of negative health impacts from Electro Magnetic Fields (EMF’s) radiating from the High Tension cables. Research has indicated the Electro Magnetic Radiation from High Tension Cables can have serious effect on the Health of the Residents.

2.  All Existing Residents are also concern that the Close Proximity of High Tension Cables will definitely drive down home values. Research shows home values drop 20% on average in cell antenna and tower areas.

3.  Electromagnetic and Radiofrequency fields effect on the children health which few primary and secondary schools located in this area.

We request TNB to consider all above factors and immediately stop installation of High Tension Cable near to the Merdeka Villa or divert the High Tension Cable to less inhabited area.
