Dear Governor,

It is our understanding that the State of TN had a drop in revenue of $300 million for the fiscal year 2013-14. In light of such we have read that your honorable office is planning cuts of 7% for many projects, and we are compelled to write this petition after we found out that the city of Dyesburg is using 4 attorneys to illegally prosecute a poor dog named Beau. There was no evidence of a crime, no one was bitten,yet Judge Dedmon deemed Beau a vicious dog,sentenced him for termination despite the lack of evidence and ignoring the clamor of over 500,000 people and 81,000 FB followers and supporters such as me. This disgraceful miscarriage of justice has people working a petition to impeach the Judge (91 signatures) less than a month and we are contemplating a tourism boycott of the whole state because after three months of begging,pleading and asking for mercy, the city and the judge,not only ignores our pleas ,they are using 4 attorneys paid by tax payers to continue this absurd case which is nothing but a blatant waste of much needed funds,creating a really bad image of the state, national and international. It is here that we are addressing your honorable office to please help stop this nonsense, we love TN , we do not want to boycott it's tourism, all that we are asking is for clemency for the poor dog, after three months of despair, we are mobilizing to impeach the judge, find ways to cut the city funds,so they cannot use it to pay 4 lawyers against the dog in an illegal city ordinance . We respectfully ask for your honorable intervention to stop the city of Dyesburg illegal ordinance, and cut their funds,since they are wasting it on a vendetta against the dog owner.
