Today is the day for you to make a step towards ending child abuse in your community. The average rate of child abuse in Tipton County alone is 4.7 percent and has gone down by .3 percent. Our goal is to bring awareness to our community about the mental and physical effects of child abuse in today's youth.

             By starting one county at a time, our chances of affecting a larger population are greater. We intend on advocating for the Carl Perkins Center to help display the long term positive effects on the children who attend the center. So far the Carl Perkins Center has assisted 8,880 individuals with traumatic  loss and heartbreak.
