In October 2020 I woke up with vertigo that then 2 weeks later turned into high pitch tinnitus and has continued to this day. It went from suicidal 9/10 levels, no sleep and ER visits. It's down some to a 6/7 now but severely affect my quality of life and millions of others in the world. I still have days or weeks of being suicidal from the noise in my head. It's not just a "little noise you ignore". We can hear a noise in our ears and head 24/7- can't sleep, can't work, can't read a book, can't socialize for the most part. Then there's those with severe tinnitus and hyperacusis aka severe sound sensitivity. In 2021 Kent Taylor the CEO of Texas Roadhouse restaurants killed himself due to severe tinnitus. A Dr. also jumped off a bridge from severe T. Numerous people from CEO's, musicians, housewives and more have killed themselves from severe tinnitus from the covid virus or AE from the v. 

We need help getting some promising drugs to market!! I will link a few videos and info. There's a drug from Hough Ear Institute that the DoD has given grants to but they need backing for clinical trials. My hope is that the deep pockets of Bill Gates (Hello Bill! You donated 100 million to Bud Light? Can you help with a serious medical condition please?) , Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk can assist this trial they estimate could be 500 million. We need help with this drug for tinnitus and hearing restoration! Please stop pushing hearing aids, cognitive behavior therapy and tinnitus retraining therapy and help with this effort for REAL solutions! 

A family friend of ours was also murdered Feb 2023- her husband got severe tinnitus and then killed her and then himself. This is the kind of thing that is not talked about and needs to highlight the pain and suffering of tinnitus!

"NHPN-1010 was created by researchers at HEI and Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF), and HEI was able to fund and support a majority of the pre-clinical development of this drug for hearing loss and auditory disorders – not typical of a small independent research institute due to the enormous cost associated with this kind of research and development. Now, we are at the point where a large pharmaceutical partner is needed to sub-license our therapeutic and pay for the rest of its clinical development through Phases II and III of the FDA approval process. This is not an easy task, because anyone who agrees to fund NHPN-1010’s clinical development is agreeing to an almost $500 million dollar investment in a single, first-in-class drug for this indication.

Our commercialization partner, OPI – who works as an agent for commercializing NHPN-1010 – found a pharmaceutical company willing to sub-license NHPN-1010 for Phase II clinical testing in 2020. In the middle of preparing NHPN-1010 for a Phase II trial this pharmaceutical partner shifted their focus away from developing therapeutics for hearing loss and decided to shift their focus towards developing therapeutics for cancer. This meant NHPN-1010’s license was returned to OPI to enable them to find another pharmaceutical company to sub-license NHPN-1010 for clinical development. This also meant a halt to NHPN-1010 entering into Phase II trials. OPI is now actively seeking another pharmaceutical company to fund the clinical development of NHPN-1010. HEI has no operational or administrative control over that process or its timing."
