St Paul has three police districts East, Central and West. Depending upon what is going on in a district, it has become a nightly issue for the other two to help cover one particular District that needs help in regards to shots fired a shooting things like this there's not enough coverage in the city to handle all of the police calls. This is very relevant when there are 5 calls that are two hours old that are still waiting to be addressed these are called timed out calls. With a police station back in the north and Rice Street area where it once was that gives us a centralized station that would better fit for the Central District. This is something that has been talked about throughout the years. Signing this petition will bring us one step closer for our community to receiving a police station
