Change the way the Math Emporium works at Virginia Tech

Change the way the Math Emporium works at Virginia Tech
The Issue
The Math Emporium needs to change the way they approach teaching math to the students. The lack of a teacher and the self-taught method that the Math Emporium conducts is clearly inefficient and many of the students here are decidedly enraged that their tuition money is going to this; some of which have to pay up to $30,000 a semester. On top of that, we have to get on a bus for 20 minutes to half an hour to even get to the Math Emporium and take their quizzes every week. I propose that we have an actual classroom with an actual teacher to teach us what we need to know for the quizzes and the exams in the class. We could settle for a large, 600 people session in a closer building if the cost of hiring too many professors is unrealistic. Ultimately, Virginia Tech needs to remove the Math Emporium as a required place to take a class for freshman (besides engineer majors) and move its math courses on campus.
