I am resending this update because apparently, the letter I referred to that I sent to AMAC did not paste into the update. So, let's try it again. By the way, I just got a response from AMAC.  They have forwarded my letter and petition to their political liaison for review.

Thanks to all of you for signing and passing on the petition to others. Below is a letter I sent to AMAC, which is similar to AARP. I am asking if any of you would be willing to send this letter or one similar to AARP and/or AMAC asking them to publish the link. This would reach thousands of potential signers and so would help greatly in the quest to get Congress to look at this petition with serious consideration.

I am 69 years old and living on social security. I made the mistake of buying a timeshare from Bluegreen Vacations in 2004. I paid the mortgage off in 2015. I have been paying maintenance fees from 2004 to the present. The fees went from $69 to over $1000. I cannot afford to pay these fees. I have started a petition to urge Congress to pass laws against lifetime maintenance fees. Some timeshares will let you out for a fee of anywhere from $2000 to $5000. These type of contract needs to be abolished as it is deceptive and unethical. There is precedent for this action. Please read the petition. I am asking you to publish this link to my petition in your AMAC publication that I receive monthly. Please consider this as it affects many American citizens.

Sincerely,

Dan Boskovich
