Tom and Jerry is probably the only good thing on Boomerang/Cartoon Network and yet many times they don't play the ones from the 40s and 50s, and instead give us the boring Chuck Jones and awful Gene Deitch cartoons. There is a DVD set for the Chuck Jones ones so there is no point to keep playing them on the station, and Gene Deitch ones are about to get a DVD release!

It is not that hard, simply take out the Tom and Jerry shorts after Tot Watchers (The last of the 40s/50s Tom and Jerry), and just play a good hour of them, which is the ones that every loves and enjoys.

By playing the 60s-today Tom and Jerry shorts, you are potentially losing viewers as most people do not enjoy them, especially the Deitch ones.
