Churches have been given tax exempt status because of their separation from the government. Now that churchs are supporting and promoting legislation, involved with making laws and public policies, funding candidates for government positions they are now part of the governmental process and its time to make them accountable for their share of the tax load. They currently have their cake and eat it too and its time to end their tax exempt status!
