As members of the East Wake Academy Charter School community, we are witnessing the growing discontent from students, staff, and parents with our school’s current administration. For many, the school environment has become a source of great stress rather than a platform for growth and learning. For related questions please see recent posts on the non- affiliated EWA Parent Resource pages on Facebook and someone will be happy to chat with you about what has led us to the decision that it’s time for a new Executive Director, or just read through the comments here to see what just a few of the problems are. 

We raise this petition with a sincere belief that the top tier of our school’s leadership has been the driving force to the school's unsettling atmosphere and a change will renew the spirit of our academic institution. We urge the EWA Board of Directors to immediately terminate our Executive Director in order to prevent further damage and begin the search for new leadership.

We hope this petition will show the Board has our full support in this change of leadership, as well as the urgency of the matter.

If you agree, please join us in signing. There is strength in numbers and we hope you will feel comfortable taking a public stand. However, If you fear retaliation and wish to sign anonymously, please note your role on the signature line (faculty, student, or family member). For example: Anonymous, faculty.  Students may only sign on change.org if they are age 13+, and additionally we ask they get parent permission. Each individual should only sign the petition once and please share with the EWA community.
