At the June 1st 2023 Council Meeting, Mayor Chris Cherry, Deputy Mayor Meredith Dennis & Councillors James Owen (Liberal), Rhi Brinsmead (Liberal), Nola Firth (Green) & Warren Polglase (Nationals) voted to block construction of a new Telecommunications Monopole in Pottsville.

Decisions like this are why Pottsville residents frequently experience dropped calls, unreliable internet and limited access to vital emergency services and make it harder for local businesses to operate day-to-day!

We, the undersigned, petition the above-named Tweed Shire Councillors to approve the Telecommunications Monopole for Pottsville and ensure Pottsville has the telecommunications it needs & deserves!
